1970 Dodge Challenger
This one is based on the AMT kit “Yankee Challenger” in 1/25 scale.
It came with a textured roof to simulate a vinyl top. I sanded that all down smooth to go without the vinyl.
I then filled the original 383 hood, which AMT wrecked by blowing a hole threw it for a blower. Later I changed my mind and used the 6 Pak hood with ram air breather. I remember a lot of Challengers in this color scheme.
It looks great inside the shop on a jack stand, rear end dropped. That was a last minute idea and I’m glad I went that direction with it.
